Decorating a Tiny Victorian Cottage.

I have always loved Shabby Chic but never quite knew how to put everything together. Not so for Sandra Foster. She turned a tiny Victorian Cottage in the Catskills into a romantic hideaway. The first thing that hits you is its size, it is tiny, it almost looks like it a doll house!
And then you're blown away by its charm and beauty. Below is the bedroom replete with a white chandelier from Target.

I particularly loved the bedroom decor. It's very affordable too from Target's line of Simply Shabby Chic bedding by Rachel Ashwell.

The China Cabinet below was constructed from 2 french doors that Sandra found in a yard sale for just $15! What a find!

I think the sitting area is one of my favorite's.  Imagine lounging there with a cup of tea reading some romantic novel from the middle ages. Its a scene right out of Dickens era!

Isn't this the most romantic setting ever!  Check out more from Sandra here.

  2. I love what you have going on here on your blog. The different focus each day is different, but holds together with a soft, feminine theme that is truly irresistible. I look forward to seeing what other lovely things you bring to our attention.
